Meet the founder
Hi! My name is Indira Viswanathan, I am a 23 year old with a strong passion for sewing and designing clothes. I have never been one to take my passions lightly, so here we are with my own fashion label, always putting my heart and soul into everything I make.

Where it all began
My passion for sewing fist began when I took Textiles in school. I studied this subject only for my last two years at school, but instantly fell in love with it. I knew I wanted to pursue this into my career somehow, so I instantly got to work on making my dream brand come true. I moved to Melbourne to pursue my fashion dreams by studying, but then the lockdowns came about. Covid lockdowns played a huge part in the start up of my brand, as it allowed me endless time to sew and prepare. During this time I had nothing but a small city apartment and a sewing machine. I truly made my time in lockdown as productive as I could by setting up my brand.
I started by selling the bikinis i was making during lockdown online, and then began taking my brand to my local markets, Olive Tree Markets in Newcastle, and Paddington Markets in Sydney. After 2 years of going to these markets, i now have my very own store with my sewing studio inside located in the heart of Newtown, Sydney.
Paris, France 2023-2024
During 2023, I moved to the world’s fashion capital, Paris. Living in Paris has brought me immense inspiration for Indira Amélie. I spent 6 months studying Fashion, and doing internships at French fashion brands.
